Successful AAT appeal.
The applicant’s previous student visa was denied due to Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) issues, often resulting from template use in the application. The original agent believed the appeal had no hope, so no preparations were made during the two-year wait at AAT. When we took on the case, the applicant had already been notified of the hearing with only a few weeks remaining. After a thorough review of the applicant’s documents, we formulated a hearing and documentation strategy, prepared materials, and provided the applicant with hearing training before the trial. In the end, the appeal was successful, and the case was sent back to the immigration department for reconsideration.
